Content / Methodology/Evaluation

Procedure:

  1. Explain the game to the participants. When the music plays, the participants walk around (or dance) around the room in a circle.
  2. When the music stops, the participants should find a partner, preferably closest to them.
  3. The pairs introduce themselves to each other by sharing their names.
  4. Encourage the participants to say something about themselves. Anything they feel like sharing.
  5. Start the music again and repeat the process.
  6. When the music stops, participants should find another partner, introduce themselves, and say something about them.
  7. Repeat the procedure several times, giving the participants the chance to interact with as many people as possible.
  8. Put a variety of music, creating different atmospheres, from energetic to slow and relaxed.

Methodology:

The teaching approach in this activity is a “Game-based interactive activity” which facilitates name-learning in a fun and enjoyable activity. It enhances communication, active learning, and a sense of comfort.
